I have been a fan for the last three or four years, largely due to the fabulous Maria Friedman, from OLC. Now however, having indulged myself into the marvellous world I have read the original novel, or translation thereof, and got to see the PBS broadcast with the fabulously hot Cerveris and Lupone. Only then, I did not know them from Sweeney Todd as I do now, and love them equally as much! So i can't wait to see that whole broadcast again someday *cough-hintsastoifanyonehasitontapeordvdplease* *cough* Sorry me throat is itchy.

Anyway, if interested I've got a PASSION gallery over at my Maria Friedman Photo Archive i created as part of my partnership with London's Broadway Baby, a Maria fanpage. Also, check out TOPFOTO.CO.UK for editorial images featuring the London cast of Passion (some new ones come up if you keyword Maria Friedman)

I've got one or two Passion icons mixed about my icon gallery allure_magazine So that's me, can't wait to chat!

Since there was a request for some icons and I made some a while back I figured I'd share them. All are either the OBC or the OLC

I just saw Passion for the first time the other day and absolutely fell in love!!! It is exquisite! I saw the Lincoln Center Concert version which was so beautiful. Patti LuPone and Michael Cerveris did such magnificent jobs that I completely fell in love with both of their characters. Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know that I made some Passion icons from the concert and they are posted in my journal! Hope you enjoy!

I absolutely LOVE, love love L.O.V.E. Passion. I think it's so different, yet so wonderful. Plus, it's always been a dream of mine to play Fosca ;)

I was wondering if anyone had the Passion Live At Lincoln Center video, with Michael Cerveris as Giorgio, Audra McDonald as Clara, and Patti LuPone as Fosca? I would be willing to trade a LOT of stuff for it! :)

Huuuge Passion fan here so I'm really glad to find this LJ! I think Sondheim is simply brilliant and Passion may be my favorite score of his (that or Sweeney Todd- I go back and forth). Unfortunately I never got to see it live, but at least we have the DVD. I can never decide which recording I prefer. I love me OBC because of Donna Murphy (her Fosca is sooo subtly intense and affective) and Marin Mazzie. But I think Michael Ball is by far the best Giorgio, so I listen to the OLC for him (I also like Maria Friedman's Fosca, but she doesn't...get to me as much as Donna in that role). I love how many of the lyrics are taken almost verbatim from the novel. I've never seen the film. But...yeah.

Hey,

I'm a HUGE Michael Cerveris fan, on top of being a Sondheim worshipper, and I came upon this musical when I saw the PBS broadcast of his performance of Giorgio. (Amazing, such emotion! But I'll refrain from fangirling). It brought me to really love the show, though, and thus am here.

... So, hi. *waves*

I adore Passion... the three leads on the dvd have the best voices you will find on broadway. I am also a major Sondheim addict, and I am so glad to be here. I only wish that I could see it live on stage. The story is so moving, and the lyrics so remarkable... I am attempting to read the novel, but everytime I start it I just want to watch the musical. Which isn't to say that the novel isn't beautiful too... Ah.. I 'm rambling. But i love Passion. (you could even say I'm passionate about it... i am very witty, yes?)

I love Passion! I was fortunate enough to be in it last Decemeber. It's an amazing piece of theater.

And on the DVD, Donna Murphy is just phenomenal. The most amazing performance I have ever seen...
